We picked Sheridan because we wanted to do calm, careful work, and Sheridan is built for that. We rent a small front office at 245 Lewis Street with a window that watches the foothills change color through the afternoon. About half our clients are within a day's drive. The other half are scattered across the country. Both are welcome.
The studio runs on plain rules: focused, better projects. Flat fees, never hourly meters. Do the unglamorous work properly. We take exactly two projects a month, on purpose, so nothing ever gets the leftover-Friday-afternoon treatment.

How the studio came to be.
Rusty Harbor came out of a simple observation: small businesses often get agency-shaped process when they need clear, durable execution. They get too many handoffs, too many dashboards, and not enough ownership of the thing they paid for.
The pattern was always the same shape: small clients getting agency-shaped treatment. Oversized discovery calls. Slide decks longer than the contract. Estimate ranges that ballooned to fit the bill. Monthly SEO retainers that didn't do much on their own. Sites shipped on a CMS the client couldn't touch without paying someone.
So we started a studio.
Rusty Harbor opened with three rules and one rented office. The rules: do both services, do them properly, and do them at a price small businesses can actually survive. The office: 245 Lewis Street, Sheridan, Wyoming. We've been here ever since.
